What is Extensions & Additions?
Extensions and additions are specific types of renovations where we extend or add on to a house, or reconfigure its structural layout, in order to enlarge the overall size and footprint. It’s a great way to create more space for a growing family or to make room for when extended family or friends come to stay.
At MT Build we often work with clients who are looking for building options that will accommodate different generations of a family living together. Young people finishing their studies are struggling to get on to the property ladder on their own. Older generations are looking for living arrangements other than expensive retirement homes – mixed generation living arrangements allow them to help out with grandchildren while also having the reassurance of having someone close by.
